A true hideaway! Charming holiday home Haute Marne

Stylish and comfortably furnished holiday home for peace seekers in rural surroundings. The house is detached and located on the outskirts of a quiet, little village Fitting 2-8 people it is ideal for groups and families. I often stay in the house myself, my second home, the kitchen furnishings and all other facilities are there to make you feel at ease. Outdoor fireplace, BBQ's, wood stove, indoor and outdoor games, WiFi, etc. Close to Langres and Bourgogne. Only 20 km from the autoroute A31 Ground floor: The living room is equipped with a wood stove that allows you to relax ‘in front of the fire’, or enjoy your meal at the dining table fitting up to 8. The fully equipped kitchen provides a large gas stove, microwave, small electric oven, electric cooker, Nespresso machine and milk frother, smoothiemaker, etc. The bathroom with shower is also situated on the ground floor. First floor: 4 bedrooms and toilet. Large bedroom 1 (former living room) with king size bed than can be two separate beds, bedroom 2 with queen size bed is en-suite. Bedroom 3 with queen size and bedroom 4 with king size bed. There is a sitting area in the barn adjacent to the house: with barn doors opened you can still sit semi-outside in case of rain or enjoy the cool of the house during hot days. A large garden and green space around the house offers relaxing spots in the sun or shadow. Garden furniture is available to enjoy meals outside and lounge chairs to relax; BBQs and an oustside woodstove for chilly nights. During your stay you can contact me for all questions concerning the house or its surroundings. Friends of mine are living in the neighbourhood and will be your hosts during check-in and check-out and calamities. Just walk out the door and take a stroll through fields, meadows and forests. Or take your bike or mountainbike and explore the cycling routes and trails in the area. But there is much more to enjoy! Nearby Langres is perched majestically on a rocky promontory overlooking the surrounding countryside. Langres is one of the fifty most beautiful towns of France, with its medieval, Renaissance and classical heritage. Within an hours drive you can reach Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, Besançon, Vesoul, Chaumont,... The Route de Grand Cru de Bourgogne wines starts just south of Dijon and will lead you through many picturesque villages like Baune and Mersault with many wineries to stop by and taste the famous wines. Two lakes are nearby, Lac de Vingeanne only a 10 minutes drive to take a swim at the beach or go fishing and Lac de la Liez with a nice restaurant to enjoy your meal overlooking the lake. A car is mandatory during your stay. Bedlinen and towels are provided. The beds will be prepared for a relaxed arrival. The upper floor can only be heated partially. Wood for the woodstove is included.
