We are back after a 16 month hiatus and excited to host again! This one bedroom offers a private bath, Roku TV, private entrance with use of the driveway, outdoor patio and porch. In your room you’ll have a mini-fridge, Keurig, microwave & toaster oven. You'll find this room is very private. There are breakfast items in the room such as fruit, granola bars, bagels, tea and coffee. You have a queen bed and a closet for clothing. There’s a small bathroom with shower stall. If you’ve stayed here in the past, some things have changed so please note, there will not be kitchen access other than to leave dishes in the sink and discard food items in the kitchen trash. My apologies. When you arrive at the house you will use a backdoor entrance, use driveway to left of home. Please do not worry about late arrivals, you won’t wake us. You will not have access to the rest of the house, only your bedroom & bathroom. Due to COVID-19 the kitchen is not a guest space so we have added many new things to the guest room. You may wash dishes in the kitchen sink or simply leave them and I will place in dishwasher. There is a barn in the back yard which is off limits, please do not enter the barn. Please message me for anything at all. At this time we are trying to keep our 3 young children and elderly parents healthy so we will have limited interaction with guests. I am near a grocery store, convenience store and gas station, and a Dunkin' Donuts around the corner. It's about 8-10 miles in either direction to restaurants and shopping. Within 30-40 min drive there are several farms and mountains, breweries, pubs and wineries. Museums and many attractions in western Massachusetts and up the Northway are easy day-trips. You'll want a vehicle. We also have Lyft and Uber but plan to wait a while before they arrive here as we are not near a city center. I have learned the hard way in the (Website hidden by Airbnb) I have to make it clear- DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN THE TOILET aside from toilet paper and natural waste. Tampons and flushable wipes CANNOT be flushed. This home and water/sewer lines are from 1930 and cannot handle mis-use. Do not wash dishes in the bathroom sink or discard food trash inside the room. Your baby is welcome but my home is not “child proofed” and you will have to bring pack n play or something for baby to sleep in. We have cats, so please be aware before booking if you have an allergy. When we do not have guests it’s a challenge to keep the cats out of the room since they think it's a fun place to explore!! We have 3 children who are all very good but can have lots of energy. You may hear them in the kitchen making themselves breakfast at 7:30am on the weekends. There are dogs next door that bark at times, and always when they see people. They are harmless but loud when let outside early morning and again, anytime they see people. Another neighbor yells loudly at times, I’m sorry, I have no explanation or control. If you plan to sleep in and get annoyed if woken early, please consider if this is the best place for you prior to booking.
