You will enjoy this cosy flat located in the lively neighbourhood of Marx Dormoy, not invaded by tourists and at walking distance to the picturesque Canal St Martin and Canal de l’Ourc. Relaxing... The apartment is bright and quiet cause it is on the 3rd floor, double-glazed windows equipped, with view on a large courtyard. No roads, no cars over there. Reading a book on the sofa in the cosy living room, enjoying a cup of tea or a coffee made in the Italian moka before leaving and discovering Paris and the nice area of Pajol and Marché de l’Olive. You will have all the apartment at you disposal. Welcome ... Multiethnic, young and dynamic, Marx Dormoy is another sort of Paris. The market hall of Marché de l’Olive reminds the covered markets of Barcelona and Madrid. You may find there 7 days a week not only any sort of delicious French cheese and ham, fresh fish and meat, fruits and vegetables, but also authentic Italian, Asiatic, Antilles’ homemade food to take away and enjoy in your peaceful flat. All around there, bakeries, wine and books shops, trendy restaurants and bars will make you enjoy the nice night and day life of the area. Coming back to the flat, a modern fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine are at your entire disposal, as well as my laptop if you need. In the end, enjoy the big and very comfortable bed before starting a new intense day in Paris. Transports...Marx Dormoy metro (line 12) will take you directly to Place de la Concorde or to the magic Musée d’Orsay among other places, and allows you to reach easily all main sights of the city with minimum changes. Railways stations of Saint Lazare and Montparnasse are on the same metro line, and Gare du Nord (Thalys, Eurostar, SNCF, RER B from Charles de Gaulle Airport) is only at 15 minutes walking. La Chapelle metro (line 2 and direct access to Gare du Nord) will lead you to Montmartre and Pigalle in less than 4 minutes. A Velib Station (available bikes) is at 2 minutes walking, just in front of the Halle Pajol, an ancient railways station recently renovated and offering you a library, some restaurants and bars with huge terraces for sunny brunches.
