TV with freeview, free Wifi, private off road parking ,private entrance. Private fenced garden with decking ,seating and table. A comfortable cosy country cottage, with private fenced sunny garden, next door to a small farm , a real getaway from city life. Walking routes on the doorstep and for more challenging walks the Brecon Beacons and Abergavenny. For cyclists the Forest of Dean is a must for beginners and thrill seekers alike with bike hire available . For more speed voted one of the UK’s best outdoor go kart tracks Herefordshire raceway . The river Wye is renowned for fishing and permits can be bought locally to fish on the river. The river Lugg nearby is a gentle river perfect for wild swimming. For History Buffs, the Mappa Mundi is not to be missed in Hereford Cathedral, and Dinedor ancient fort can be seen from the cottage. The Malvern Hills and British camp iron age fort are 20 miles away and worth a visit. The county has wonderful places to eat and drink , you are in cider country ! The cottage is 200 years old and not suitable for people with walking difficulties due to steps. We look forward to seeing you and helping you to have a lovely stay. Herefordshire has lots of wonderful cycle and walking routes and the city has invested in cycle lanes and bike hire.
