Riverside Medieval Glamping

Riverside Glamping at 'Moenda Velha' campsite in a magical setting, in medieval type tents. Still very much camping, but comfortable! Our emphasis is on low impact eco tourism and nature. Moenda Velha is secluded but not remote just a short walk into the village for a coffee, beer or lunch, and about 4 km to the quaint town of Coja. Facilities include a solar shower, running water and compost toilet. Canoes are on site with access to the river, and swimming from our river (shallow) beach. We have a productive garden which guests can get seasonal veg and fruit. Access to the river on our private little river beach. We have field guides to fauna and flora which guests may use by request and camera traps for wildlife observations are available. The campsite has just two tents over a large area, If you are planning a family holiday it is possible to bring a small tent to pitch by arrangement.
