Award winning Listing! We're back, and I can't wait to welcome back guests, old and new!! You will love your stay in my homely apartment (I'll make sure of that), which is nestled in the bustling Minster town of Southwell. Whether you are looking to simply relax and wander around the town full of a wide variety of eaters, pubs and shops, or go further afield in search of historical sites, such as the Major Oak, the Workhouse, or the Minster, this is the perfect place to stay! The apartment has a lovely cosy feel to it, which will make you feel at home straight away. You will arrive at the garden which has an enclosed feel, where, weather permitting, you can enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple, whilst enjoying some lovely flowers and wildlife. The apartment is on the ground floor of a Grade II listed building, which has been converted into two beautiful apartments. The apartment is within a short walk of the many gems this beautiful Minster town has to offer, whether you want and energetic or chilled out relaxing stay. There are many walks and bike rides to enjoy, and range from a quick circuit, to as many hours outdoors as you wish. There is an excellent sports centre just five minutes walk away, and even an outdoor gym and children's play area on the way! There are too many restaurants to name, all within a few minutes walk, so whatever you taste in food or budget, you will not be disappointed! I can make you some recommendations if you wish. If bringing your 'fur babies' (with my prior consent only), you will discover that Southwell is very dog friendly, so both you and your dog will have a wonderful stay, and make some new friends! I live in the first floor apartment so am on hand for advice or assistance. You will find only top quality bedding, towels, and cushions in the apartment for your use. Both beds are new, as are all quilts and pillows. The carpet is also new, so I ask that guests do not wear shoes to walk around the apartment. The second bedroom is a single, and will be prepared in accordance to whether the guest is a child, adult, male or female. There will be some surprises in store for children! The fridge will be stocked with basics, and milk, tea, coffee, and sugar will all provided for you. You will have full use of the kitchen, including oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. Southwell is a bustling town with many attractions for tourists and local residents alike, but still retains its personal friendly feel. There is a small market on Fridays and Saturdays. We are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by many open spaces, children's playgrounds and sports facilities, all within a very short walk. There are many events held within the town and the surrounding area, and you will find details online, or from your host when you arrive. Southwell Minster is only a couple of minutes walk away, and often holds major events. Nottingham and Lincoln are both within an easy drive so ideal for Christmas shopping, concert or culture fans. Kelham Hall which hosts many events throughout the year is only 15 minutes drive away. There is an excellent bus service two minutes walk away (buses every 20 minutes), which you can use to explore Nottingham without the issue of finding somewhere to park.
