Podere Le Murella La vita è bella
What is most striking about the guests of Podere Le Murella is the great quiet of the place and the feeling of being out of the world despite the fact that the town of Palaia and all the Tuscan cities of art are very close. Many species of birds fly and live in the garden full of flowers and it is not difficult to see roe deer, porcupines, squirrels and other animal species. Welcome to "Podere le Murella" on the Tuscan hills near Pisa. Nestled in a lush garden full of roses and flowers ever-changing from season to season, a century-old country house, renovated with taste and love, awaits you. The residence consists of two separate apartments, each one for two people, completely independent from each other (separate entrance and parking). The two apartments can also be rented at a reduced rate by one single family unit (up to 4 people) for a relaxing stay. In the land surrounding the house you will find over 200 olive trees, fruit trees, a vegetable garden - strictly organically, a grove of acacia trees, a lovely greenhouse, and a traditional chicken coop. The estate boasts a range of solutions designed for the self-sufficiency of the farm, such as photovoltaic panels that produce electricity (and yet well hidden and located away from the main building), an heating system (radiators) fed with local wood and, finally, a recycle system that ensures rain water irrigation of the soil throughout the year. This quiet and magical "little paradise" is the ideal place for a honeymoon or a romantic getaway: not far from historical cities of art such as Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Siena and only 30 km from the Tuscan coast. The guests of "La Vita è Bella" in addition to their apartment with independent entrance will have at their complete disposal the terrace and will have access to the garden and all the rest of the property. I live on the property and am always available to help, advise and solve the problems of my guests, always respecting their privacy. The town of Palaia is located on the Pisan hills at about 250 meters above sea level, immersed in the Tuscan countryside among olive groves and vineyards. The town is an ancient medieval village full of small wonders, such as the Romanesque church or the churches of S. Andrea and S. Maria and a historical center made up of small alleys that wind under the cliff of the ancient fortress, of which only remain few remains but from which you can enjoy a fantastic 360 degree view of the surrounding area. In the village there are 3 restaurants, 2 restaurants / pizzerias, a pizzeria to cut, a bar that produces excellent ice cream and even a pub with an excellent facility for watching sports events. The best way to reach and move around from Podere Le Murella is by car, but if someone prefers to move on foot, the bus stop is about 150 meters from the house. The line that arrives at the stop is the Palaia-Pontedera from where you can take the train to Pisa (15 min.) Or Florence (35 min.). The town of Palaia is only 2 km from here and can be reached by car (2min.) Or on foot (15 min.).
