The property accommodates 4 adults and 4 children with a large front garden offering views to St Ives and Godrevy. There is also parking for 2 cars. Bedroom One has a King Size bed with sea views and direct access onto the patio. There is hanging space for clothes and an underbed storage drawer. Bedroom Two has a King Size bed with sea views and a chest of drawers and hanging space. Bedroom Three has two sets of bunk beds and a small snug area adjacent to the bedroom. There is a hanging rail and chest of drawers for storage. There are two bathrooms both with showers and one with a bath. The living area is open plan with double opening french windows onto the patio. There are two large sofas and an indoor/outdoor beanbag for relaxing inside or on the patio. There is a dining table that accommodates 8 and smart tv mounted on the wall. The kitchen and utility area are well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, two fridges, Nespresso Coffee machine and all necessary utensils. There is a large front garden with a shed for storing wetsuits and bodyboards, there are 2 bodyboards available for guests to use. There is outside seating for dinner as well as a charcoal Weber barbecue. One dog is allowed. There are 4 cafes/restaurants within walking distance and a Marks and Spencers and Farm Shop a 5 minute drive away. There is a minimum 7 night stay during the peak summer. The beaches of Gwithian Towans and Godrevy are some of the most beautiful beaches on the North coast of Cornwall. The west facing beaches bask in the sun all day and offer stunning sunsets across St Ives Bay. Gwithian and Godrevy beaches are also home to some of the best surfing in Cornwall offering waves for all abilities along the long stretch of sandy beach. Coupled with barbecues in the sand dunes and rock jumping in the pools this area offers a stunning holiday destination. Gwithian beach is a large sandy beach and is popular with surfers, and body boarders. There are also several large rock pools for swimming and jumping as well as catching the occasional crab. There are seasonal restrictions for dogs but there are areas of the beach that are accessible all year round. There is a café on the beach during the summer months and two cafes above the beach, Sunset Surf and the Jam Pot. There are two surf schools operating on Gwithian Beach. Godrevy is owned by the National Trust and is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the property offers views of Godrevy Island with the lighthouse that inspired Virginia Woolfe. The South West Coast Path takes you around to Mutton Cove where there is a large colony of seals. The café located at the Godrevy end of the beach is in our view one of the best in Cornwall and operates year round during the day. Gwithian village sits set back from the beach with the local pub The Red River Inn providing freshly cooked food. St Ives is easily reached from the property either by driving or taking the picturesque train journey from nearby St Erth. A host of other attractions are within easy reach of the property including The Minack Theatre, Lands End, St Michael's Mount, Porthleven, The Lizard Peninsula and the recently re opened Lido in Penzance. It truly is a perfectly located base for exploring Cornwall or simply somewhere to while away your days on the beach watching the sunsets. One well behaved dog is allowed.
