Two boutique-style, luxury tents on a individual decks beside the creek will be sure to give you a magical experience. Soak up the rejuvenating atmosphere of 30 lush acres. Enjoy a dip in the magnesium salt swimming pool or the stunning view on the top of our mountain. Private kitchen and bathroom. Easy drive to Eumundi markets and Noosa. This is a hobby farm, where we soak up the tranquil ambiance, appreciate the natural beauty, get our hands dirty and delight in the bounty of fresh food we produce. In days gone by the property was a certified organic mango and macadamia farm. Dwellings are nestled along the side of the rain-forest lined creek. Many of the buildings, fences and features have been made from the stones found in the rich red soil that covers the property. While strolling around the property you may end up in the mangoes at the top of the mountain with spectacular views across the Mary valley and surrounding ranges. If you’re an artist or musician bring your easel or your instrument. Stonehouse farm is bound to inspire you! Apart from the many things to explore on the farm the adjoining Amamoor state forest’s many trails present a natural playground for walking, push biking or horse riding tours with the nearby riding school. Guests have access to the 27 acres of the farm and its many unique features. Guests have their own kitchen and bathroom and there is plenty of room for parking. Benches, tables and chairs are placed around the farm for you to relax and enjoy the scenery and tranquility. Barbecue near the outdoor dinning table by the creek. We also have bicycles you can use to explore the countryside or the adjoining state forest. We're happy to take you to nearby attractions and arrange for meals if you require for an additional charge. Stonehouse farm is a perfect retreat where we get more horse traffic than cars. We are in a small side chute off the Mary Valley, a rural area located in the beautiful hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The Mary Valley has fertile soil and rolling green hills and is known for its fresh farm produce and many dairy farms. There are many local markets in the valley and on the Sunshine Coast. A steam train comes to Amamoor four times over the weekend and there are tours of the nearby cheese factory at Kenilworth. The Rattler a historic steam train takes people into Gympie town. Other than this tourist attraction there is no public transportation. We are happy to share our seasonal vegetables and fruits with guests. Don't be surprised to find fresh bread, macadamias, mangoes, avocados, or any other wonderful delights in your kitchen and deck table when you wake up in the morning.
