Langsaan is a 4 bedroom, modern, clean and fully equipped self catering duet beach house. The house is totally private from the 2nd dwelling with its own entrance, garden and patio. No spaces are shared. Walking distance to the beach and lagoon. Langsaan House rules Thank you for choosing Langsaan. We sincerely hope that you will enjoy your stay. Langsaan is a fully equipped beach house and includes the following: • Linen for all beds • Extra blankets • Gas heater • Bath towels • Beach chairs • Fully equipped kitchen • Nespresso capsule machine • Washing machine • Tumble dryer • Dishwasher • Coffee grinder and plunger • Limited amount of cleaning products and toilet paper • Smart TV screen Not included: • Beach towels • Extra gas for heater • Beach umbrella • Coffee capsules • DSTV Check in - Check out • Check in 14.00 • Check out 10.00 • At departure please close all windows and lock doors. • Leave the key in the outside shower. Baboons • We share the environment with our local baboon troops. They are intelligent and opportunistic and will take advantage of any opportunity to enter a property and steal food, damaging the property in the process. • Please be alert when the doors and windows are open. Septic tank • Septic tanks are utilized throughout Nature’s Valley. • Nothing else but toilet paper is to be flushed down the toilets. Grey water • We make use of French drains as a grey water system. • Please use water sparingly as the liquid capacity is limited. • Please do not discard any excess oil or fat down the drains. For your convenience we have supplied empty plastic bottles for that purpose. • Please discard used ground coffee in the bin or bush. Rubbish • Rubbish bags should never be left outside due to the regular baboon activities. • Bins will be emptied by the municipality on Fridays. Please place the bags in the bin provided and leave it outside the gate for pick up. • Alternatively there is a skip available, located in Forest drive, on your left just before you exit Nature’s Valley. Please feel free to dispose your bags. Electricity • We have a solar geyser, but by pressing the red button on the panel in the scullery, the switch to Escom is immediately. Please make use of that during a cool day or if the water is to cold to your liking. • All the lights in the house, as well as the plugs (except those in the kitchen), are of the grit and powered by solar energy. Make use of the gas hob for boiling water in case of load shedding or any other interruptions. General • As Nature’s Valley is a little town situated in a national park, its character is very unique and quite different from many coastal holiday destinations. • We kindly request that you respect this character by not playing load music or disturb the neighbours with unnecessary noise. • Just after sunset during warm nights, it is possible to see a feast of fireflies. They are easily disturbed by electrical light. You are welcome to use the outside lights while you enjoy your braai or the beautiful evenings outside, but please make sure to switch it of once you are inside the house.
