Relaxing cottage with cave and garden in Tuscany

The cottage "Buca delle fate" is a historic mansion dating back to the XVIII century and recently renovated with a wise combination of stone, wood and Carrara's marble that create an elegant and characteristic habitat. Surrounded by a wide flower garden, the cottage is featured by a natural cave, the perfect place to sip a glass of wine in a fairytale atmosphere. The cottage consists of 250 sm spread over three floors, each with independent access. While the sitting room, the kitchen, the living room and a little bathroom, are situated on the first floor, the other two bathrooms with shower, the wardrobe and the four bedrooms are located on the other two floors. The flower garden is provided by a wide natural cave, a real "mother's womb", where you can keep in touch with nature and yourselves. The cottage "Buca delle fate" is situated at the beginning of the middle age village of Monteggiori, a quiet place sets on the top of the hills overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Monteggiori is a strategical locality for touring as it is far just 5 km from the centre of Pietrasanta and Camaiore, two towns rich of art, events and shops, well known for being crossed by the historical "Via Francigena", a religious path. Immersed in the tranquillity of Camaiore's hills, you can reach easily the coast (Forte dei marmi, Marina di pietrasanta, Lido di camaiore, Viareggio) as it is far about 10 km while the famous cities of Lucca and Pisa are far about 32 km (40 minutes by car) from the house. Nearby Monteggiori there are several train stations leading to "The five lands" as well. Nearby the cottage there is a large free parking area while on the top of the village there is a famous restaurant "Le tre terrazze" with an amazing view on the hill and the sea.
