Lovely 4-bedroom Victorian terraced house, Hoylake
My house is a large Victorian terraced house in a cul-de-sac off the main road with a bus stop close by and the mainline station about 8 minutes walk. It's a quiet, calm, leafy suburb, close to the beach and amenities, very safe with a good neighbourhood atmosphere. It's close to Liverpool, Chester and North Wales and is very accessible from motorways. We have two living rooms, one has a tv and CD player, while the smaller one is more of an 'inner sanctum', known as our ethnic room, where guests are welcome to chill. It's a really 'sunny' room and gets sunlight throughout the day and has a French door that leads to the garden. Guests can access both living rooms, kitchen, bathroom and toilets, communal areas, outside garden in addition to their own bedroom. They will be given a house key in addition to a key for their own bedroom. I make a point of interacting with our guests, including them in any social activities, should they so want. Refreshments are offered during the course of the day, however I totally respect the need for privacy and let guests feel both at home, but also safe in the knowledge they will not be bothered. The house is situated between Hoylake and Meols which are both dormitory towns on the Wirral, serving Liverpool, Chester and Birkenhead, with excellent transport links. Charity shops abound, there's a wide choice of bars, pubs and restaurants, the Royal Liverpool Golf Club is close, there are excellent sailing facilities at West Kirby which is close by. Views of North Wales across the Dee Estuary are stunning, there's a 10 mile Wirral Coastal Path that ultimately reaches Chester. Bus stops are on the main road, 2 minutes from the house, the Merseyrail station is Manor Road which is less than 10 minutes walk. At the end of the road is a park that leads directly to the beach, there are tennis courts and a bowling green en route. Services are reliable and frequent, Liverpool and Chester is 25 minutes on train, North Wales is accessible by rail with links to Wrexham. The M53 is the nearest motorway that links to the M6, M56 and A55 to Wales. Parking is not usually a problem, with prior arrangement, I can make the space outside my house available.
