The Flowernest Retreat

We live on a lifestyle block with a few animals and a large vegetable garden. It is very private and secluded and is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It takes aprox 10 mins to reach central downtown Tauranga so is very handy to everything. We are real foodies so enjoy cooking mostly with our homegrown meat, vegetables and fruit when in season. I also run a small florist from home called The Flower Nest. I am happy to have flowers ready for you at your request when booking. Its a lovely relaxing, friendly and welcoming place to stay, where you can to choose to spend time on your own or have some light hearted conversation by joining us in the evening You will have parking outside your room. You are welcome to use the laundry room, family tv room and also wander over our outside property ensuring all gates are closed behind you. I can be contacted by guests on my mobile if they have any other questions. We are also happy for them to join us in the evening if they are interested. There is a lovely public reserve just a few minutes walk from our house. You can walk around the lake that has ducks which will take aprox 20 mins. It has some lovely native trees along the way. In Te Puna there is a lovely cafe called Nourish which is very popular. There is also a cidery down the end of Te Puna Rd where they make there own ciders. You can sit outside and enjoy the view, sampling their ciders and can also order platters to share etc. A restaurant called the White House has recently opened its doors in central Te Puna which is 5 mins from our home. I am happy to supply an evening meal for $25 per person if you let me know when booking
