South facing on the hill overlooking Aberfeldy we confidently boast one of the best views in the area. The house is self contained offering all you require for a relaxing stay in Highland Perthshire. Parking and easy access on the level make it suitable for those who may find steps a problem. We are a 10 minute walk from Aberfeldy and likewise to the local bar/restaurant. Dog friendly there are many walks to explore right on your doorstep. We live next door and are always available for info. The house is designed for wheelchair use with a totally level floor and a wet room that you can wheel into if required. We also have a shower chair which can be provided. The main bedroom has a linked and zipped bed so can be either 2 large single beds or one super king size. Please inform us when booking which you prefer. Standard lay out is super king. We have 30 acres of oak wood behind the house which is accessible for exploration and dog walking. I was born and brought up in the area and am very proud of all it has to offer. I can provide lots of valuable local knowledge and guidance in what to see and do and see when here. We live next door and are always here to help in any way we can. Highland Perthshire is renowned for its beautiful scenery. Referred to as Big Tree country the landscape from the fertile valley floors to the tops of some of Scotland’s highest mountains ensures there is something for everyone. Aberfeldy is the local market town and offers a selection of cafes, independent shops, galleries bars and restaurants. Having a car is essential if you want to make the most of your time here. There is some public transport from Aberfeldy and this would allow you to see what everyone sees. The trick is to see the other stuff as well. Aberfeldy is only one small town in the area but there are many others with their own characters and history. As a hub Aberfeldy works very well to spoke out and discover many of Scotland’s main attractions many of which only 2 hours or less away.
