Located in the heart of the beautifully scenic Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park, secluded amongst the sought after Orchard area - No.8 The Orchard is perfect base to explore all that the area has to offer. 10 mins from Porthmadog (Tesco, Aldi, Lidl) 10mins from Beddgelert 15mins to Black Rock Sands beach 15mins to Porthmadog golf course 25mins to Mount Snowdon 45mins to Nefyn golf course 1hr to Anglesey These are just a few examples, but whether you're looking to visit Bounce Below, Zip World, Surf Snowdonia or go crabbing in Porthmadog harbour, grab an ice cream and watch the Ffestiniog railway - No.8 The Orchard will provide you the warm, cosy home-from-home you are looking for. The lodge offers 2 bedrooms with king size beds - both with wall mounted televisions, and a third bedroom with 2 single beds (lends itself to children/teens). There are wardrobes in all. The master bedroom has its own ensuite with large, powerful shower and the family bathroom has a large bath with up/over shower. The large open plan living area boasts a lounge with 2 double sofa's and an armchair as well as 2 super comfy beanbags. Electric fireplace and HD TV complete with Freeview, but also has a NOW TV box that guests can use via their own login. There is a DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, as well as a Wii games console with games, large selection of DVD's, books and board games. The dining area has seating for 6, and the very well equipped kitchen including integrated fridge and freezer, gas hob and electric fan oven. Toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine as well as a large selection of pots/pans, utensils and crockery. Outside, there is a very large decking area giving a side terrace with picnic table/benches and charcoal BBQ, and the top terrace with corner lounge sofa and table underneath a gazebo to give some dappled shade from the glorious sunshine that the whole deck area enjoys (unfortunately, we can't guarantee the sunshine!) overlooking some of the parks streams and peaceful woodland. Fresh bed linen will be provided, however, please bring your own towels (including beach towels). Wifi access is free and provides fast connection. To connect, there is an 8 digit access code located inside the welcome file. You will have the whole lodge to yourself during your stay. There are 3 decking steps up to the main access door to the lodge. Please also be aware, that there is quite a steep slope down to the lodge, however it is fully tarmac. Onsite facilities - Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park is a beautiful, scenic 200 acre ancient woodland. There are many tranquil and picturesque walks throughout the park that can be enjoyed - a particular favourite is The Waterfalls walk. Walk maps can be found in the drawer in the dining area, or from the site office. If you don't fancy cooking - there is also the bar and restaurant onsite serving food and drink Monday to Sunday with food from 5.30pm to 9pm, and breakfast is served daily 8am to 9.45am. Bookings may be required (COVID guidelines will be in place). Electric vehicles - there are 4 newly installed Fast Charge Electric Vehicle Points, located adjacent to the main office - most cars can fully charge within 3 hours. The current Tarriff is 25p/kWh plus a £2.00 connection charge. Max Stay: 3 hours. Please DO NOT charge your electric vehicle from the lodge. The cables and sockets inside of the holiday home are for "leisure use" only. Therefore, they are not designed for continuous use when charging your vehicle. This may result in a fire risk and not something covered by insurance.
