Situated on a hill, our comfortable apartment is a 700m walk to free bus, hospital, CBD & 500m train station. A bright apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher & all the utensils required to cook up a storm. Continental breakfast for first two nights. A comfortable living-room with TV, DVD player, stereo & comfy chairs to relax after sightseeing. The bedroom has queen bed, ceiling fan, built-in-robe & ensuite with washing machine & tub. Read further for full description. A quiet abode in quiet, leafy suburbia. Our one bedroom apartment easily caters for two adults. If you have a baby we can supply a portacot & high chair if needed. We also have a supply of children's toys & a big backyard to play in. Continental breakfast with homemade treats supplied to for your first two days stay. Kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator and all necessary utensils to cook up a storm. The living area has a small dining table and chairs, TV, DVD, stereo and comfortable lounge chairs seating four. The bathroom has a shower/half bath, vanity unit, toilet, washing machine and tub. A private patio area for guests just across from your front door. If you have wheels of the motor type it will be parked kerbside. Directly beside the path leading to your door. You have access to your front door, which is actually down the side of the house, via our leafy side path. This path also leads you to the backyard with distant southerly views and laden orange trees (in season) as well as to the shared clothesline. We enjoy people and happy to interact as much or as little as the guests would like. When available we are happy to share a meal or cheese & wine on the verandah. Rod & I love to show off our city & surrounds with recommendations for restaurants, coffee, bush walks, sightseeing and cycling. We are on Mangerton Hill with views of Wollongong lighthouse, city and escarpment. The street is lined with jacaranda, cedar and bottle brush trees. It is a quiet street with lovely and engaging residents. It is a delight to listen to the birds in the trees of a morning & the resident blue tongue lizard wanders past occasionally. Wollongong train station is a 7 minute walk from the unit and 10 minute walk to Crown Street's great cafes and the Free Bus to the City, Beaches, Innovation Campus and University. A brisk 30 minute walk will have you on City Beach to soak up the sun and surf. Our apartment is situated on a hill so there is always a walk up to the property. Great for keeping fit!!! The Wollongong Hospital and many of the specialist medical practices are only a 10 minute walk away which saves the hassle of parking . We do live on a hill with the plus of great views & you can keep fit walking home.
