Yurt for Art Lovers!

This cozy yurt is situated next to our Jara studio of glass and ceramics in the heart of Clil. Clil is the most beautiful, natural and organic village in the Galilee. We are a short drive away from the beach and at the footsteps of many hikes. Enjoy the uniqueness of our village with its coffee shop, restaurants and live music on Friday nights. Why not be creative and book yourselves a workshop with us in either glass or pottery! There is something wonderful about sleeping in a yurt; you are almost sleeping outside, but not quite! You can feel the elements but you are still protected inside. Sleeping in a round space is harmonizing to your senses and will leave you feeling refreshed! Because we are in an ecological village we are on solar power - therefore there is no a/c - however you can use a fan and on most days this is enough. In the heat of the summer the yurt can be hot but nights are always pleasant! Very sorry about it but in the studio and yurt we don't have wifi and telephone reception is not always the best. For important things you can always ask us and use our home wifi. Feel free to connect your device to loudspeakers and enjoy your music. And at night why not light a bonfire outside? If needed we provide extra firewood for a small fee. Please note that the bathroom and kitchen are not connected to the yurt but to the studio ( about 20 steps away from the yurt) . During the day there may be activity in the studio and people may use the bathroom and kitchen. From the evening on it's for your private use along with the studio outside patio and table. Enjoy! Feel free to use the whole area around the studio - the garden is large with fruit trees and there is a designated spot for a fire outside. When we are around (most of the time) we are more than happy to meet you, recommend nice things and help you plan your stay! We are situated in the heart of Clil, a stone throw away from the coffee shop with its wonderful breakfasts, the organic vegetable garden/shop, the playground, the bakery and pizza place (Tuesday nights only). There is a beautiful hike to Yechiam crusader castle where you can taste the local Birra Malka beer on Friday afternoons. While having a car is your best option, it's also possible to get around without. Nahariya is 20 minutes (80 shekels in a taxi) away and has a great train service to Tel Aviv and the airport. There are three buses per day into Nahariya. Please note that the studio is our working space and sometimes we do have activities in the studio but the evenings are completely private. Please note that you can't use hairdryers due to solar power. Also please realize that you are in a neighbourhood so please respect the neighbours!
