Beautiful Schaffhausen

My flat is centrally located, just 1 minute away from the River Rhein. The Appartment is light, The Guestroom is spacious. There are plenty of restaurants minutes away, as well as a supermarket. The Munot is in walking distance (5 minutes). The flat is just across from the 'Schifflände' (where the boats depart to Stein am Rhein and beyond. If you are energetic, you can walk up the 157 or so steps up to the Munot, beginning at more or less our front door. The flat is very central, walking distance to train station, local restaurants and bars as well as a supermarket, open long hours. You have access to the Kitchen and Lounge. The Bathroom is spacious and I have a small washing machine. The toilet is separate. The reason I like Airbnb, to meet people from different countries. I have lived abroad for most of my adult life. I like my own space, enjoy interacting with guests and help them to get most out of their stay here in Schaffhausen. You are right opposite 'Freier Platz' and Güterhof (now a bar/restaurant). This old renovated building used to be the hub in the old days when goods were transported on the Rhein. On a nice day you see people sitting on the benches, boats departing for Stein am Rhein, have a drink in the Güterhof, often a popular venue also for weddings. The flat is a straight 10 minute walk from the station through the lovely old town. There are several buses between the station and Freier Platz. You can walk to the Rheinfall (the biggest Waterfall in Europe) or take a boat trip to Stein am Rhein, another beautiful old town close by. Schaffhausen is a beautiful small town, very lively, the Rheinfall (biggest waterfall in Europe) is close by. The city has a definite mediterranean feel.
