We are open for bookings! A lotus belle tent with local amenities in the beautiful Somerset countryside. A ten-minute drive from Glastonbury town and a wild swimming spot a five-minute stroll away. In the Winter, the field will be restored to a sheep grazing field, so it is our aim to leave no trace! Come and enjoy the peaceful surroundings with an open fire, kitchenette, chill out area, and compost toilet unit all to yourself :) Lotus belle tent with king size bed and two fold-out futons. A spacious private kitchenette with gas cooker, cool box and utensils. Private compost toilet with sawdust Shower - gas heated Fire pit with seating No electricity- everything is either solar or gas powered. We will supply a power pack for phone charging. Access via front gate and park by tent. Minimal, mostly offsite. Baltonsborough is a beautiful village a ten-minute drive from Glastonbury. With a lovely local shop/cafe and pub (drinks only), everything is within walking distance. There are numerous public footpaths for walking. Car is the most convenient form of transport. Closest train station is Castle Carey (20 minute drive to glampsite). Taxi services are available but will need to be booked beforehand. Local taxi numbers can be supplied on request. There is a bus service that takes you to Street, which you can then changeover to Glastonbury town. If you have your own bicycles, there is a scenic cycle route into Glastonbury (approx 25 - 30 minutes) Special instructions will be given for using the gas-powered warm shower!
