If you need anything else, please just ask for it! The tent is quite easy to setup, it has a 3 inches memory foam mattress in it so it’s quite comfortable. You can easily set it up and break it down. All of our gears are setup for TWO people, as listed above. We may not have extra gears but will do our best to fulfill everyone’s requests. We highly recommend that you bring your own beddings if you have more than 2 people. It is easier for us and will take a lot less space in the camper for you. Our beddings kits are in bins and are for 2 people. If you need an extra beddings bin, we charge $25 per kits for the length of your stay. Pick up at the airport is $75 and same for drop off. We highly prefer and recommend that you use your own transportation. An Uber or Lyft runs around $40. An airport taxi will cost around $70. ✵✵ PICK UP TIME ✵✵ Departure time is at 3pm and return time is at 11 am. If you would like to inquire if a late return or early pick up is possible, we sometime can accommodate you if we don't have back to back bookings. The fee for an early departure is $65 and same for a late return. Please communicate with us and please make sure that you return your camper on time. ✵✵ INSURANCE ✵✵ If you do not have or want to use you own insurance coverage, we can help you get some from a third party insurer. Should you choose their insurance coverage, it runs around $15-$30 a day, based on the vehicle’s value. They do require a deposit ($500 to $880 or 2% of the vehicle’s value) and offer really great coverage for any damages that may occur. We HIGHLY recommend choosing this option for your own peace of mind during your trip. That is because, if any damages were to happen to your camper during your trip while you are using your own insurance, you would be fully responsible, and your personal insurance premium would go up, which nobody in the world want right? Learnt from experience and from my heart to yours, the $15-$30 ish a day option goes a long way to keep you covered and keep your personal car insurance policy out of the equation. It is not an easy thing to get as most insurers are not comfortable with the roof top tent attachment. Better be safe than sorry, right? If you are under 25 years old, you will not be able to get coverage through our third party insurer. Please contact us before completing your booking so that we can see if we can help you get proper coverage. ❖ ❖ CLEANING FEE ❖ ❖ Your cleaning fee is for the tents, the kitchen kit, your beddings and the sanitization of your vehicle. We do ask that you return your camper in the same shape as it was when you got it. At time of departure we will remind you of 1- Filling the camper with gas before returning 2- Running it through the car wash at SUDZ in Kapaa and 3- Giving it a quick 2 minutes vacuum Car rental taxes and fees are mandatory industry-wide charges required by the State of Hawaii. Car rental companies only get to keep the base rate. All taxes, fees and surcharges collected go to the State. Airbnb does not include the HRHS (Hawaii State Rental Car Surcharge) of $5 per night. They allow sleeping inside the vehicle and has always been the best camp base for our guests as this is centrally located in the island. When you book, you will be provided with a list of other campsites where you can use the rooftop tent at as well as our electronic guidebook for recommendations on what to do, where to go, what to see and where to eat.
