Dream Mountain Budget Room, Joshimath

The Budget Room is a cosy room suitable for young couples and traveling pairs. It has a double bed and an attached bathroom with hot water geyser. and a private verandah.. Please note that the wash-basin is located in the bedroom instead of in the bathroom. Please see the room fotos. This room is ideal for those on workation. We give good discount for stays over 7 days. Please note that the maximum guest limit for this room is two. It is not possible to accommodate a third guest. The Budget Room is located in the Dream Mountain Resort campus and is serviced by the Dream Mountain team. Meals are provided from the in-house kitchen in the main resort. Guests booked in the Budget room can avail of all the common facilities of the Dream Mountain Resort such as the parking, common-lounge, dining area , WiFi etc. If you are looking for a WORKATION base and longer stay, the Budget Room is ideal. Travel time to Joshimath by bus/car- 9hrs. 2)Nearest Airport- Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun.(250km). Travel time from airport 8hrs. 3)Distance of Resort from Joshimath market/ bus station - 2.5 km. 4) Walking distance from Resort to Joshimath market- 1 km -You have to climb stairs. -There is no TV in the room. -Third person cannot be accommodated in this room. -MEALS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE ROOM PRICE. Standard breakfast is Rs 100/ per person. Standard veg dinner is Rs 300/ per person. - The hotel does NOT have a backup diesel generator. Mains electric outage is not common in Joshimath because it is in a hydro-power generation area, but in the occasional case that the mains electricity is interrupted for any reason the room heaters and geysers will not operate. The inverter supply is limited to the lighting system. Guests may kindly note this particular risk that may affect their stay. COVID-19 RELATED: Prospective guests are requested to kindly note the following information regarding how we are operating during the Corona epidemic: - We are not offering Instant Booking facility during the Corona epidemic. All bookings will necessarily require pre-approval. This is because we want to have the opportunity to interact with the guests before they book the rooms and have the opportunity to explain the various change in the tourism and the hospitality ecosystem in our region and how it impacts our hotel and our guests. - We have six rooms in our property, listed under the categories Deluxe Room, Family Suite and Budget Room. While we are in the shadow of the Corona epidemic we are only booking upto 50% capacity so that it is easier to practice social distancing for our guests. It also eases the load on our staff. Exception is made if rooms are booked by a single guest group. - Daily room cleaning service will not be available during this period. This precaution is required to protect our staff. So guests staying for more than one day will need to live with this situation. If absolutely necessary, we will relocate the guest to a new room instead of cleaning the room during the stay of the guest. - Meals and kitchen menu will be very limited to simple Indian meals. We will not be able to offer our usual range from the in-house kitchen. Room service will be limited to the bare essential. All meals will be served in the common dining area.
