Cosy flat near Lake Garda for holiday or business

Quiet one-bedroom flat, only 15 mins from Lake Garda (Desenzano) and 45 mins from the amazing towns of Verona and Mantua. Located in the historical centre of a small village, the flat is at ground floor in a residential building. It's got fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, washer and a bedroom with double bed, single bed and a baby cot (child's cot and high chair available on request). Free Wi-Fi. The owner is available to give advice about places to visit or restaurants in the area. There is no private parking lot, but you can park along the street or in the church square nearby. TV, Wi-Fi, washing machine and ironing stuff available for free in the flat. Laundromat and dry-cleaning at walking distance. The flat is for maximum three adults. Please let us know whether there are children and their age in order to organize the accommodation at its best (e.g.high chair). There will be some toys for the youngest children (we have a 7-year-old girl) and books in Italian, English and German for the grown-ups. The guests will have access to the whole flat with private entrance. Courtyard available to hang out the washing. The owner will be pleased to meet the guests and give them any advice they will need. Carpenedolo is a small village, it offers some local festivals, mainly during the summer, but its great advantage is the strategic location to easily reach Lake Garda and several places of interest as for example Verona, home to “Romeo and Juliet”, with its magnificent Arena where you can go to the Opera or to some concerts; Mantua with its wonderful palaces and squares, for a boat-trip on the lakes, or again for the Literature Festival at the beginning of September. For those who want to enjoy the lake or the night life, it is possible to admire the landscapes of Desenzano, Sirmione, Peschiera or Salò and even eat delicious typical food in one of the several restaurants on the lake-front. if you come here for business, the industrial area of Castiglione delle Stiviere or the Exhibition Centre (Centro Fiera) of Montichiari are at 10 minutes distance by car. If you love cyciing, there are several MTB-paths to explore our hills (colline moreniche) and the Velodromo (cycle track) in Montichiari which hosts international competitions. Carpenedolo is at 45 minutes from Verona international airport and at only 15 minutes from Montichiari/Brescia airport and from Desenzano del Garda railway station. Within walking distance from the flat you can reach the main facilities (bar, cashpoint, chemist's, library, tobacconist, hairdresser's, ice-cream parlor, pizzerias, restaurants (there is one just in front of the flat), bus-stop, travel agency and several shops. Nearby you can also find a small shopping centre, several supermarkets, swimming-pool and tennis courts. At 10 minutes distance by car, on the way to Desenzano, you'll find a big shopping centre (Il Leone, with more than 100 shops). At 35 km there are fantastic theme parks for children and adults, like Gardaland, Movieland, CanevaWorld aqua park or again the amazing Zoo Safari Park Natura Viva. Minimum stay: 2 nights. Check-in from 2:00 pm to 7 pm (flexible according to booking traffic). Check out within midday. Spoken languages: Italian and English.
