It is surrounded by the lush greenery and is at Pamunugama, a simple, quite village in the sleepy lagoon, in the western coast of Sri Lanka. Having said that it is located in a fisheries village, Villa Sarakkuwa is only 5 minutes’ walk down to the golden sandy beaches and only 15 minutes’ drive from the airport. Villa Sarakkuwa is meant for your family or even just you and your better half. We have three rooms that can be given individually or you can book the whole Villa. Our pool is open up for all its visitors and since we are in a fisheries village you have the luxury of getting the catch of the days, freshly from the sea or the lagoon. If you like you can observe fishermen in the lagoon doing what they are good at. We here at Villa Sarakkuwa can cook your pick n Sri Lankan style and if you like teach you how to do that at our very own ‘lagoon Kitchen’ TIP: make sure to ask us what ‘lagoon Kitchen’ is all about. It is only 15 minutes drive from the Bandaranayake International Airport. If you are taking the Airport express way, take the Ja-Ela exit, drive towards Pamunugama, then from Pamunugama take the beach road and go towards Negombo for about 4 km to village Sarakkuwa. We are there during weekends. Rest of the days our humble caretaker will cater to your needs Sarakkuwa is all about nature. one side you see the lush greenery creeping through, the other side you hear the never ending sea waves and golden sandy beaches We can organize you any vehicle on request.
