Falcons Nest

Lovely self contained annexe set in the beautiful surroundings of the Jurassic coast. There is a cosy double bedroom (which has the option of either a king size or two single beds) a shower room and a well equipped kitchen/dining/living room which has a sofa bed. The property has its own pretty courtyard garden and off road parking for one car. The annexe is part of our main house although completely self contained and therefore you may occasionally be aware of the normal sounds of family life self contained annexe with easy access to Lulworth Cove and the Jurassic Coast AONB Guests have the full run of their own space which includes outdoor seating in the courtyard garden and a small amount of under-cover outside space suitable for a pushchair or bicycles. We live in the main house with it's own entrance close to the annexe and are happy to help with advice about the local area or anything else. If there are problems when we are not at home we can usually be reached by phone. West Lulworth and its associated Lulworth Cove is a pretty little village with many thatched properties. It does not have street lighting so the night sky can be very spectacular. There are two pubs both of which serve food, a very nice restaurant within easy walking distance of the property (a little expensive but lovely menu) and a bistro nearer to the sea which additionally does take away pizzas . There is also a number of further cafes including Finlays who serve good fish and chips and very delicious Dorset ice cream. (Please note that not everything is open during the winter) Our nearest railway station is at Wool. Local bus depends upon the season. Unfortunately during the winter there are no shops within convenient walking distance. You may want to bring provisions with you (there is a full size fridge freezer in the annexe) There is a Spar in Wool (4 miles away) which has a good range and is reasonably priced. There is also a small Sainsbury supermarket in Wareham ( 9 miles away) Wareham is a lovely little town to wander around in its own right with historic houses, the old town walls, a small market once a week and its own quay
