It is our own family's holiday home and holds a very special place in our hearts. We truly love it and find it is in the most perfect spot in Peurto Banus and specifically in Nueva Andalusia (the heart of the golf valley). Enviably located in a calm, safe and prestigious neighbourhood surrounded by luxury private villas and mansions, Ucanca boasts far reaching unique views of both La Quinta Golf Course and the Sea (even Morocco on a clear day) yet is within very easy reach of the hustle & bustle and all the attractions of everything Marbella, Puerto Banus & even San Pedro have to offer; the beach clubs, bars, restaurants, boat trips and nightlife are a mere 5-10 minute drive away and there is a handy taxi rank a few steps from our home at The 5 Star Westin Hotel. Villa Ucanca is large, bright and well laid out with heaps of storage and wardrobe space. There is a new Super King Size bed in the Master Bedroom and each Bedroom has its own balcony. We have a range of new pillows to choose from: soft to hard, hypoallergenic and orthopedic to ensure our guests enjoy a good night's sleep as they would at home. Our home has a wonderful Fireplace for cozy Winter escapes too or for Golfers holidays all year round. Wifi and UK/EU TV package is included and we have both outside parking as well as secure underground parking. Our home consists of 3 bedrooms, the Master Bedroom Suite is particularly large with its own Living Area, Ensuite Bathroom and large Terrace overlooking La Quinta Golf Course. Downstairs there are 2 different sofa seating areas, that can easily accommodate 12 people, with a Conservatory with bi-folding glass doors leading into the garden for an indoors/outdoors feeling, as well as a dining table, breakfast table and further sofa sets. Garden table, chairs, sun loungers and Umbrella are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped including washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso Coffee Maker, etc. it is not a commercial experience but rather a true Home from Home with all the comforts one would expect. Our home is tastefully decorated in a contemporary Spanish style as we wanted to feel like we are in Spain when visiting and to avoid the cut and paste soul-less look of many rental properties. This is a high standard, comfortable home, fully equipped with everything a family would need. Malaga Airport and Gibraltar are both 45 minutes drive by car (AP7 or A7 Highways) with an airport bus service stopping nearby in Marbella Bus Station or at the San Pedro Bus Stop. From here you can explore further using the convenient bus/coach routes that connect all over Spain and down to Tarifa, the most Southern point in Spain, famous for Wind Surfing. To drive takes 1.5 hours and from here you can take the regular ferry service to Morocco for the day. Historic Ronda, where Ernest Hemingway lived, is also a leisurely 40 mins drive up the mountains, and Estepona with its beautiful beaches is 25 minutes and Seville and Granada can be reached in 2 hours by car - the options are endless for great days out. Driving in Spain is easy with well defined sign-posts in English and Spanish and Exits clearly marked with Area names along the Coastal Highway A7 or the faster Toll Road AP7 which runs parallel. The drive from Malaga Airport is essentially a straight line highway running all the way to Tarifa in the South of Spain with the cities and towns clearly shown along the way, usually identified by large white letters spelling out the name of each place. Access includes the entire house, private back garden, secure parking We retain a professional Key Holding office just down the road to collect and drop off the keys, & we have left a handy file in our house that gives ideas and tips for outings, local restaurants we have tried and tested ourselves etc. and basically provides you with an insider's view of the local areas. We can help you arrange: * Maid Cleaning Service for longer stays * Babysitting Service * Laundry Service Subject to availability, to be paid directly by guest to each company. We take no responsibility for such extra services but will be happy to connect our guests to these local providers. Our property does not have its own swimming pool but we delight in using the Luxury 5 Star Westin Hotel's facilities located just across the road and we have secured special rates for our guests over 16 years as well if anyone wishes to avail them. Cost is Euro 85 per person up to one month to use the Swimming Pool, Gym and Luxury Spa, paid directly to the hotel, please see pics for further info. They also have a full spa and beauty services menu as well as restaurants and bars located at the hotel. There is a taxi rank located 1 minute walk away which is rare in high season to find a taxi, and there is a famous hike and cycle ride up the mountain next to us culminating in a spectacular view of the local dam. Everything is in close proximity with supermarkets and coffee shops and restaurants all within 3-5 minutes drive in Nueva Andalusia, the Golf Valley and the El Cortes Ingles Hypermarket and Summer Market located down the road in Puerto Banus We have free secure parking on site in our gated compound for up to 2 cars. A taxi rank is stationed 100m away at The Westin Hotel. Uber taxis may be called to the house. San Pedro has a main Bus Terminal Stop not far away with links / buses & cost-effective coaches going to main cities in Spain (approx. 10 minute drive away) A few cupboards in our home are secure or locked to store our personable belongings. Please do not open those clearly secured and do not remove any items from the house.
