Our homely one bedroom apartment is perfect as a base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. Just a short drive from Glengarriff village where you will find the famous Garnish Island, Glengarriff Nature Rreserve, Bamboo Park, restaurants, shops and bars. We are also very central for exploring the Beara peninsula, Bantry, Kenmare and Killarney. This one bedroom apartment has all the bits and bobs you could need for a self-catering holiday. There is a large double room with plenty of storage and space, and a very comfy king size bed. A self catering kitchen which has everything you could need. A large sitting room with TV, DVDs and DVD player. The bathroom has an electric shower and includes shampoos, conditioner and shower gel. There is WiFi throughout. Glengarriff is a beautiful little village that we are so proud to call home. It’s perfect for walkers to explore the many trails, or cyclists who want to challenge themselves to the Ring of Beara or the Ring of Kerry. If you choose to head West you will stumble on the bright and colourful villages on the Beara peninsula. You will come across gems such as Castletownbere, the second largest fishing port in Ireland, or why not try out the only cable car in Ireland to Dursey Island, or book a day to relax and unwind at the Buddhist Retreat Centre. West Cork always leaves people wanting to come back for more! Guests have private entrance and an area to sit outside with outdoor table and chairs. Private car parking. Free WiFi The apartment is alongside our home, with its own private entrance so we will never be too far away should you have a question or need some help in any way. Glengarriff has lots to offer visitors. Its heaven for anyone who loves nature with lots of walking trails in and around the nature reserve. Garnish Island has been voted one of the beautiful gardens in Ireland and is just a short ferry ride across the bay where you will see seals lying out on the rocks. Glengarriff is on the Wild Atlantic Way, the Ring of Beara and close to the Ring of Kerry and always leaves an impression with visitors coming back year after year. Glengarriff is a short drive by car(>5minutes). There are local taxis to and from the village. Please ensure that you wear a face covering when using stairs to enter and exit apartment.
