Nestled within a five acres property in Dural, with swimming pool, tennis court, pond, gardens, and more, the Hilltop Cottage offers a beautiful romantic retreat or a family vacation away from it all. While not far from Sydney, The Hilltop Cottage is a fully equipped family style cottage offering a quiet and peaceful time-out in a rural setting. If you want to experience a quiet break in rural Sydney, surrounded by tranquillity and nature, the Hilltop Cottage offers all that and more. The long driveway leads to a peaceful countryside retreat where you can enjoy your privacy with all amenities provided. There is plenty of undercover parking right next to the cottage. You will have full access to our grounds, tennis court and the salt-water pool, right outside the doors of the cottage. We live adjacent to the cottage, but the cottage faces the gardens, leaving you with your own privacy. Should you need it, we are more than happy to help with information on the area. You can interact with us as much or as little as you like. Staying at Middle Dural, you are central to the Blue Mountains, the incredible Hawkesbury River region, historic towns like Windsor and Richmond, and of course Sydney and Parramatta, and much more. There are lovely cafes, restaurants, shopping villages and supermarkets in the immediate area. The cafe at the end of the road (the Geranium Cottage, a 10 min walk) has a terrific healthy buffet breakfast on Sundays for a very reasonable price. Please note there is no train-station nearby and a car is required to fully enjoy this area. We are about 60 minutes from Sydney Airport; 45 minutes from the CBD; 30 minutes from Parramatta and 20 minutes from Hornsby and Castle Hill (all exclude peak hour traffic). The Hilltop Cottage has one bedroom with a double bed and amazing views and a beautiful living room with a sofa that opens up to another comfy double bed. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom and a laundry room with a washing machine. There is free Wi-Fi and mobile phone reception, flatscreen TV, DVD player, and more. Linen, towels and toiletries are all provided. The Cottage is rented to one group of guests at a time. The owners live in the nearby main house and can offer advice and assistance. Being in a rural area, wi-fi is not very strong or fast. We do not have a BBQ for guests.
