Bungalow - close to beach
Fantastically located, just a few footsteps away from the Talacre coastal path. The bungalow has everything a family would need and more. We pride ourselves for having created a home from home. We constantly update the bungalow (and its contents) so it stays fresh and clean. Talacre is also well known for its sand dunes and its light house. It is a small seaside town with bags of charm. Bedroom 1 - has a queen size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, two chest of drawers and a TV. Bedroom 2 - has a double bed and chest of drawers. Bedroom 3 - has a single bed, bucket chair, chest of drawers. The kitchen has an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and all cooking utensils you could think of needing for a home away from home. We have made sure we have stocked it with everything you may need. The utility room (outside porch) houses the washing machine, tumble dryer and cleaning equipment. You can leave your wet boots here after that long walk or wet clothes after that day on the beach. The bathroom has a shower (no bath), sink and lots of cupboard space. The living room has a large L shaped sofa. It has a 36" TV with DVD player. We have lots of games in the living room for those family nights in - we even have bingo! There is also an iPod docking station/CD Player/Radio and a wireless speaker. We have a front porch, another place to leave your coats and shoes. In the hall you will find a book case full of books for all ages. The bungalow now has full WiFi access (fibre broadband). All towels and linen are included - even a few beach towels. The bungalow is cleaned ready for when you arrive. We have a travel cot and a booster seat (which can be used as a high chair). We will provide you with details on how to get the keys to the property nearer the time. We will be available via phone and email if required. Cycling/Walking - you are a short walk away from the now famous North Wales coastal path. It was built for walkers and/or cyclists. We have cycled through to Rhyl and the views are amazing and the ride is not too taxing - there are lots of stops along the way. The walk from Talacre sand dunes through to Gronant sand dunes is amazing. The panoramic views of the sea and the mountains takes your breath away - it does for me. You are also not too far (in a car/public transport) from many beautiful places like Llandudno, Conway (with its amazing castle), Snowdon and more locally Prestatyn, Rhyl (where the local authorities have started to refurbish the front), Holywell and many many more. Talacre is locally known for its miles of sandy beaches. You can walk to the beach in just five minutes from our bungalow. If you have the energy you can walk up the tallest sand dune - the views are well worth it. You have the sea, lighthouse, sand on one side and the welsh mountains on the other. The area around the beach is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The dunes house a rare collection of natterjack toads. The nearest town is Prestatyn. It is approximately 5 miles away. There you will find all the shops you need and many lovely restaurants and take away (most of which deliver). Prestatyn has been newly renovated and conveniently has a Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Boots and many more large chain stores including some lovely must visit local stores. There are a few shops in Talacre (bakers, sweet shop, chip shop, ice cream shop, 'bit of everything' shop, two small arcades and two local pubs). Talacre is a small, friendly town. If you are looking for a more lively place then you may need to travel to the Prestatyn or Rhyl. There are buses which travel to most of the larger towns. You can also cycle the coastal pathways. By car it takes 10 minutes to get to Prestatyn and approximately 20 minutes to get to Rhyl.
