The Hideaway, in Shropshire, sits down a quiet access road on the Welsh borders, This character cottage with kitchen wood-burner and open fire in the sitting room is the perfect cosy escape. The garden decking area overlooks rolling fields and the Welsh foothills A 5 minute walk to the aquaduct on the Llangollen canal and the dog friendly Poachers Pub. Chirk train station is a 15 minute walk away, NB 7 maximum including children).The cottage offers 4 bedrooms: 2 doubles, 1 twin, 1 single. The Hideaway is a the perfect place for walkers, cyclists, and general water lovers (kayaking, white water rafting locally), or for just collapsing with a good book, looking out over the views. Whilst it is a semi-detached Victorian cottage, it still offers complete privacy and peace and quiet. Whilst we don't live on site we are 10 minutes away and readily available on the phone. We have lots of local area knowledge! Chirk Station 15 minutes walk - access to the Roman City of Chester or the stunning market town of Shrewsbury. 5 minute walk through fields to the local pub!
