Set up to accommodate families or small groups traveling to Sydney. This character-filled apartment sits within a newly renovated art deco building and allows the true Manly lifestyle experience. Access all that Sydney has to offer, just by walking 5 minutes (500m) to the Manly Ferry Wharf & 20 minutes to the heart of Sydney. This beautiful old art deco building has recently undergone a very nice refurbishment to the entrance and elegant old stair case. A corner wrap around apartment with beach views from every room, you can expect to sit back and watch the waves and people as they enjoy beautiful Manly beach. An open plan kitchen and living area with window seats and a small balcony provide a place from which you can be in the activity but the comfort of your own home. Recently fitted with 2 x 55 inch Smart Tv's installed with Netflix. On level 1 at the back of the building we have a drying area for washing and beach towels. Instructions on how to access this area are contained within the house manual. As the owner and part-time user of the property, I will be available via message and Airbnb messenger throughout your stay and will have local on-hand support if the need arises. The cleaners are booked to start cleaning after your departure at 10:00 am and will charge if they are not able to get in and clean. Please note that departing on time, leaving the parking permit on the kitchen counter and leaving the keys in the lockbox are the 3 things that have to be done on departure. Manly is such a great place to live. You have the Harbour and Beach side to explore along with many restaurants, cafes, wholefood & Organic food stores, pubs, seafood you name it. A list of the best places can be found within the guide in the apartment. You simply do not need a car in Manly. Everything is within walking distance. With a Coles Supermarket located 140m down the street and a convenience store right underneath the building. Quite simply you can find everything within 500 metres of the apartment. Walk up the beach to Queenscliff or walk around the headland to the less exposed safer Shelley Beach. And if hitting the beach isn't your thing there are plenty of nature walks, bike rides, trips, art & culture to explore. Having the Manly Ferry 500 metres walk from the apartment opens up the whole of Sydney giving access to all public transport options from which the whole of Sydney can be explored. As well as providing you amazing site seeing just from the ferry ride itself. If traveling from Sydney airport you can get a taxi for $100 to $150, an uber at similar prices, private pre-booked car $150 to $200. The trip from the Airport will take 40-60 minutes outside of heavy traffic. No parking provided with this rental, there is a public parking station right behind the building with 2 hours free. There is a flat rate of $10 if you park from 7pm - 7am. To park in longer-term street parking you will need to locate your car to the east of the property up the hill. Once you are in Manly you don't need a car to get around. I do have a resident parking permit that can be used around the apartment in designated 2P Permit Holder spots, for unlimited time. If you find one of tgese spots place the permit in the window and don't move your vehicle. My recommendation is to park outside Manly CBD and walk back to apartment or find a way not to bring your vehicle. Street Parking is unlimited from 6pm to 9am.
