If you like walks, views and dramatic scenery whilst being only 1 km from the centre of the cultural spa town, this area is for you. White Villa is presented with cleanliness an obsession. We would like to say a special thank you to all our kind Airbnb guests from the last years, both one-off and returning. Thank you again to these wonderful people and we hope to see you again. The accommodation has three double bedrooms, extra large sitting room/bedroom 4, kitchen/dining room, new luxury bathroom, door from bedroom onto large balcony/terrace. All corners and surfaces are cleaned before each check in. Basins, baths, showers, sinks and taps are polished during the preparation process. I'm afraid we do not provide meals or concierge/butler/valet service, we do not live on site, this is a vacation apartment rental and it's completely self contained. We do provide lots of fresh towels, all freshly made and clean bed linen, various toiletries and a fully equipped kitchen. Some people do prefer a "full service" vacation but we do not offer this. There are hotels in Baden, Gumpoldskirchen or Vienna which do offer this. If there's anything further you need though, don't hesitate to contact us. We're on the end of the phone and we check our email regularly. Will be only too happy to help. The neighbourhood is the premier location of Baden, a highly exclusive wooded and HILLY residential area. Footpaths into the Baden Town woods (also hilly) are just five minutes walk from the house. There's great public transport. Vienna is 25 minutes away by train from Baden. The town is a 10 minute downhill walk away. The uphill return back to the house is a only recommended for the active and those with cars. Don't worry though, a taxi ride if preferred is only around €4! Baden bei Wien, is just around 30 mins from Vienna by half-hourly train service. The apartment itself occupies the main part of an architect-designed 1960s luxury villa, and spans the entire ground floor which extends over the integral garages due to its split-level layout. With the only other apartment in the building being situated above on the the attic level, guests can be assured that thick concrete floors separate the two residences meaning ambient sound cannot pass through. Nick Dobson, independent wine expert and founder of Wines of the World writes about Austria: 'Austria is quite simply one of the most fascinating wine producing countries in Europe today. Steeped in culture and history, it has a wine growing heritage stretching back over three millennia. Austria produces some of the best wines in the world, of unparalleled quality, from grape varieties not grown elsewhere. Yet remarkably, her wines remain relatively unknown and under-represented in the UK.' Note: The apartment lies approximately 15 minutes walk downhill to Baden town centre.
