Elegant apart in an original castle

Enjoy a stay in an original castle with italian style garden. An historical estate to taste the true charme of Italy. A wide apartment with living room, double bedroom, twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms and kitchen. Swimming Pool for our guests in the private park of the castle. Private apartment in an original neogotic castle, that originally was set in defense of the roman Via Flaminia, that connected Rome to the north adriatic sea. Up to 4 people can be guested in the apartment that is composed by a a large living room with a fireplace, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with window/door on the garden, two bathrooms and a kitchen. The apartment listed (Green Apartment) is at garden level and maybe connected to another apartment, (Blue Apartment), in order to guest up to 8 persons. The private apartment is at ground level, with indipendent access to the park, where you have table and chairs to enjoy the "italian style garden". There is private parking space for our guests, and it is possible to drive up to the apartment door to leave your baggages. You will be free to enjoy your time and your space. The park and the swimming is reserved for guests of Villa Fontalba, that has only 4 apartment. We stay in a small village, Smirra, that grow up around the castle during the centuries. In the village you have a grocery, a butchery, a post office and 2 bars. During the summertime (once or twice per year) there could run some village fair (Sagre or Feste) Some place to visit are: Cagli, Acqualagna, Urbino and Gubbio. It is possible to use public bus to reach Urbino or Cagli or more distant cities.
