There are bus stops nearby with regular bus service to both Hastings and St Leonards as well as Bexhill and Eastbourne. Walking distance to two railway stations - St Leonards Warrior Square and Hastings. Parking provided free of charge. We welcome guests from all backgrounds. The room is very cosy but at the same time spacious enough for two people. There is a free WiFi in the house also. If you are travelling with children, this is a perfect room to accommodate them whilst you can stay in our other, double bedroom. The two rooms are opposite each other so you're never too far away from keeping an eye on your young ones. Please note that the room nor the house are suitable for children under the age of 2. There is a shared bathroom upstairs with a shower and a bath, and a cloakroom downstairs. Our guests also share the kitchen, living and dining rooms, conservatory and,in the summer months, the garden. We provide you with your own key to the house. Please note that we do not have a TV nor a microwave in the kitchen. The house is close to a superstore with long opening hours and many other shops and takeaways. It is just five minutes walking distance from the town's main green space - Alexandra Park with lovely walks, cafe, games courts, ponds, play areas and more. Horntye Sports Complex, Summerfields Sports Centre and Falaise fitness centre are all within 15 mins walking distance from the house. We are also 10 minutes bus or car-drive away from Conquest hospital. Hastings old town is filled with history dating back to the Norman conquest of 1066 battle of Hastings. There are many sites well worth visiting, such as the Castle or the Smugglers Adventure. Hastings also boasts the steepest funicular railway on the East Hill on top of which you can start exploring Hastings Country Park. You will not be disappointed. The house is very close to public transportation - there are several bus stops near-by with busses to all corners of Hastings and St Leonards, as well as Bexhill, Eastbourne, Rye, Tenterden, Folkstone and Dover. There are two railway stations easily reachable which are some 20 minutes by foot or 5 minutes by bus - St Leonards Warrior Square and Hastings with direct links to London Charring Cross and Victoria stations as well as Brighton and Ashford International. We are on hand and happy to interact with our guests and share our knowledge of the local area. We also have maps and bus/train timetables to assist with directions and points of interest.
