Tranquil Mountains Hideaway(now with Spa)

This hideaway offers a blissfully quiet & peaceful stay. Wake to the sound of birds & enjoy watching rainbow lorikeets & rosellas whilst relaxing in your private garden. Our free range hens roam but so long as you keep your gate closed they won't disturb you. We have koi & goldfish in a pond just outside your area, feel free to venture out there. We live upstairs but you have your own entrance. The unit is warm in winter & cool in summer. Waterfalls 5 mins away, sights/attractions 15 min drive. Local shops, train and bus stop only a short 5 minutes walk away. Shops include cake shop, The Black Cockatoo bakery, hairdressers, coffee/chocolate shop, restaurants including Thai & Mediterranean, pizza, takeaway, coffee shops, pub, chemist, physiotherapist, pet shop, florist, hardware, bathroom shop and supermarket. Guests have their own entry . We like to leave guests alone but always happy to interact anytime. Communicate by mobile or text is best if you want a quick response The Blue Mountains and particularly Lawson are such a delightful place to live and visit. There is a great sense of community and people will smile and be friendly. We have lived in the Blue Mountains for over 40 years and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. It can get hot in summer but with so many trees around, it cools down quickly and there is usually a gentle breeze which makes such a difference. There are so many great places to visit and an abundance of bush walks and look outs. The views are spectacular as well as the wild life. Lots of good coffee shops and restaurants as well as boutiques. We couldn't recommend a visit to our world more highly and we know you won't be disappointed. If you plan on going to see some of the sights in Leura or Katoomba, you need to be aware that there is metered parking around Echo Point. Parking can be challenging so you might want to consider going by train or bus. There is an explorer bus available at Katoomba station that will take you to see the attractions. There will be information available for you that we have put together to help you plan your schedule. Bedroom 2 with the king size bed can be separated into 2 king single beds. We prepare the King bedroom only when a couple is staying unless requested otherwise. If both bedrooms are required, please inform us so we can prepare that room for you also. We also provide a basic breakfast of cereal, bread, milk and eggs from our chooks if available. We provide butter and spreads as well. There is a great selection of teas as well as a huge selection of coffee pods for our Nespresso Coffee Machine-no George included :)
