The whole place is green everywhere, with hardly any pollution, and has plenty of trails, country roads, and paths to explore. There are Jeeps plying from Mananthavady to Thavinhal, from dawn to dusk, with an occasional bus or two. Autorickshaws and taxis are available, and are the most used method of transport.
