Small cottage, Rainbow Cottages in France, recently renovated, has a sitting room with kitchen area downstairs and double bedroom with ensuite bathroom upstairs. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, cooker with grill, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave etc. etc. There is a television with French TV and basic UK Sky channels and parking adjacent to the cottage. There is WiFi in the cottage and a wood burner with supplied logs. South facing garden with table and chairs and sunloungers. There is a utility area with freezers and washing machine and a place to dry your clothes. The cottage is situated in a quiet hamlet. with lovely walks from the house. The owner has animals on a field 200 metres away, chickens, ducks and goats with a polytunnel and veggie gardens. In the garden are hens and cats. The nearest town has a post office, church, library, banks, bars, restaurants, supermarket, bakers, pharmacy within three miles and there is another village with bar, restaurant, post office, grocery shop and church just over a mile in the other direction. A very large lake with water sports, bars and restaurants 20-25 minutes away and the north coast is just 45 minutes from the hamlet. I am happy to send more photos by email. All bed linen and towels are included in the price, as are tea towels, dishwasher tablets, logs for the wood burner etc. If you are planning to arrive after the shops have closed, then I can arrange for essentials like milk to be bought and waiting for you in the cottage if you let me know what you require. Beach towels can be provided. There is a swimming pool in St Nicolas du Pélem, just 3 miles away. No smoking permitted in any of the accommodation. You may smoke in the garden. (EMAIL HIDDEN) There are many lovely walks around this area in the lanes or through the woods alongside streams and lakes. I have bicycles available for guests so you can always take a break from driving and explore the area getting some exercise at the same time. Lac de Guerledan is about 25 minutes away. It is a huge lake with many water sport facilities, restaurants and a beach. The north coast of Brittany is about 45 minutes by car and the south coast about 75 minutes.Wifi is available. Lots of books to read and tables and chairs for relaxing outside. We also offer to guests Middle Cottage which is a house for four people. And, we have The Hive, a room which shares the food preparation area and shower room with Honeycomb, a twin-bedded room. The Hive and Honeycomb are in a separate cottage.
