The Loft at the Old Distillery

Located in a historic 200 year old former Distillery. Fabulous area with lots to do. 35 minutes on Train to Edinburgh. 40 minutes drive to St Andrews. Golf, Art, culture, history and outdoors. Near all of Fife. 4000 year old stone carvings a short walk away. The House is very unique and has lots of fabulous history. The Private flat is located on the top floor of the house with access through the main front door with two flights of stairs. The loft area contains lounge with TV, dvds, internet, board games and books. A small kitchen area on open plan with a small oven/cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, snacks provided. Two double bedrooms which will sleep 4 with plenty of storage and hairdryer. A bathroom provided with towels, shampoo, soap and toilet paper. Views to Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth can be seen from the Loft and The House is located at the foot of The Binn Hill. Guests will have access to the Private flat and all its amenities with their own front door key. Full use of the utility room (washing machines and dryers) which is located in the basement and plenty of parking is available on the grounds at the front of the house. Guests are welcome to make full use of the beautiful garden to sit in. I will be available on arrival to greet quests and provide a tour. Also on hand to advise on transport links and interesting things to do in the area. If a guest has any queries I can be contacted at the House. The location would suit a couple or a small touring group. Burntisland is friendly small town with lots of charm and character. There are two pubs 10 minutes walk away from the house if guests feel like a wee dram or an evening stroll. Burntisland has great transport links with a railway station and bus connections to all nearby areas. The train to Edinburgh leaves Burntisland every 30 minutes and takes only 35 minutes to central Edinburgh. There are bus links to St Andrews, Dunfermline and surrounding areas with a bus stop a few steps away that can take you to Kirkcaldy and Leven. The railway station is a short 15 minute walk from Distillery House.
