We have put our heart and soul into making this a beautiful place to stay. The actual barn itself is over 250 years old and set on what used to be The old manor farm grounds. LBB is situated in the heart of the idyllic village of Uphill in Weston super mare. Arguably the nicest village Weston has to offer. It offers a high standard of accommodation including its own Hot Tub and private garden, super fast WiFi and off road parking. It offers the perfect seaside getaway. The main bedroom boasts a king size bed and is set in a upper mezzanine overlooking the spacious living quarters below. The living room has two comfortable sofas one of which converts to a double bed, There is a 50 inch smart TV with it’s own dedicated Netflix account for those who wish to cosy in and watch the latest box sets or films. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped modern kitchen with all the amenities you could need for preparing your own meals. Including integrated fridge and washing machine, a microwave, toaster, kettle, oven and hob. LBB has its own modern electric heating system with thermostatic controls to easily adjust the temperature. The barns thick stone walls help keep the property cool during the summer and warm in the winter. The barn has a newly fitted bathroom with a luxury double sink, toilet and large shower. All towels and linen are provided for your stay. A selection of board games and books are provided and an integrated Bluetooth speaker system is built into the barn so you can connect and listen to your own music. Outside is a private south facing sunny garden with seating area and lawns. At the far end of the garden is the “hot springs” hydrotherapy jacuzzi which seats up to five. It is perfect to invigorate aching muscles after a long day and enjoy a glass of something cool in the warm water - which maintains a constant temperature of 38 degrees. LBB is accessed by a private drive off the main road. (Approximately 20 metres long). The driveway leads to a large parking space in front of the barn gates. One vehicle may be parked here in front of the gates. We are happy to meet and greet guests but also offer a full self check in service. Uphill is situated at the south end of Weston Bay, where the River Axe flows into the Bristol Channel. It's a peaceful suburban village with it's own sandy beach, two local pubs, boat yard café, village store, nature reserve, Italian restaurant and a beautiful Norman Church sat on a designated site of special scientific interest. Only a short distance away from Weston-Super-Mare town centre In this property you really are in the heart of it all with only 10 minute walk to Uphill beach, at the entrance to the cycle path from Uphill to Brean, 5 minute drive or a short picturesque stroll to Weston-Super-Mare town centre, promenade, Grand Pier, restaurants and nightlife. Weston-Super-Mare train station is 1.8 miles from the property with direct routes to the South West including Bristol, Bath and Exeter. Local Buses serve the village and surrounding areas 7 days a week with access to Brean and Bristol including Bristol International Airport The driveway is quite narrow and although there is ample space for vans and larger vehicles some drivers may be put off by its width and inability to turn around. We recommend if using the driveway then reversing down the drive may be a better option for less confident drivers. On road parking is free and available on the main road but but can be very busy at times.
