Our beautiful, new 2 bedrm home is one block from Lake Macquarie, a children's playground & boat ramp. Our 60 sq m "Haven" is tastefully decorated with modern decor, is warm & inviting. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, cooktop, dishwasher & full size fridge. The bedrooms have plenty of hanging space & storage. The living area has an air con for the summer & winter. Bathroom has a bath & separate shower. A small amount of toiletries & kitchen essentials are provided until you can restock. Harbord Haven has a spacious kitchen, dining and lounge room complete with bay window to relax and read in the morning light. The main living area has a substantial Air con which can flow to the bedrooms, with fans in lounge and bedrooms. With a northerly aspect on the deck for bbqs and dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bedrooms, kitchen and bay windows have awnings to pull down for maximum sun protection & to enjoy sleepins. Bedrooms have winter and summer linen/blankets and plenty of storage and hanging space. Luggage racks and clock radios for your convenience in each bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for holiday cooking, & also has a water purifier. Games and magazines, 55" smart TV and DVD player for your entertainment. Some cds and DVDS. NBN Wifi. A comfortable portable cot (used by my grandchildren) is available on request, supplied with fresh linen and blankets. The nightly price is for up to 2 people, extra guest/s is $20 per person per night. We also offer discounts for extended stays, weekly or monthly. Children under 2 are no extra charge. Open the wooden gates at left hand concrete driveway, and continue on down the driveway. Keys are in the key-safe marked "Guest", located up the 3 steps, on the deck, far left of the front door, next to the window. Please don't knock on 147 as it is tenanted out. Please also report any breakages, something isn't working or any problem as soon as possible, so we can sort it for you and the next guests. 5 min walk to tranqill Lake Mac & Pendlebury Pk for BBQs, boat ramp & children's playground. 3km in one direction - Morriset Shopping square (W'worths, Coles, Best & Less) & Railway & then opp. direction - Bonnells Bay shops (Coles & small shops). Morriset also has a public pool & Library. It is 10 mins drive to M1 motorway. Avondale College is 15 mins drive. Morriset train station is 3kms away. Bus 278 services Bonnells Bay along Grand Parade (one block away) to Morriset. There are other buses that service other local areas including Brightwaters, Wangi Wangi, Cooranbong, Lake and Haven & Dora Creek. The bus nos. are 279, bus 280, bus 281. If the hot water is cool/warm (sometimes can happen winter or rainy days)(as it is solar), pls flick the Hot water booster switch to ON, located in the internal circuit board (outside bathrm dr). Please switch back to OFF when water is heated (between 1/2hr-3 hrs). Tech has suggested to flick "on" in eve & flick back "off" in morn if weather is constantly raining. If you need to flick the switch more than once in a day, that is perfectly ok, but please do not leave on permanently, as this means it is constantly reheating already hot water (very costly), and defeats the purpose of solar hot water, thanks, much appreciated.
