"Home away from Home" - Ideal for longer visits

Ideal for 1 or 2 families. Our place is close to - the airport (15-20 mins) - Public transport to the city (15-20 mins) - Vic Uni, Maribyrnong & Footscray Secondary Colleges - Western Hospitals - Highpoint Shopping Centre - Restaurants, cafes & Aldi supermarket at end of street - Edgewater Lake & Maribyrnong river walk - Flemington Race course / Melb showgrounds (walking distance) You have access to a fully equipped house with all bedding, laundry and kitchen services. There is a private back deck with lounge chairs. The house is an older style that has been freshly painted with new oven, fridge and a brand new bathroom. A cot is available. Please request linen if required. You have access to the entire house and free wifi (although a little slow). There is free off site parking (room for 2 cars) - no garage or carport. Key pick up will be explained after booking. We live next door and would prefer to show you around the house on arrival. If we're not there to greet you we will arrange a key collection point with you. We love Melbourne so we'd be happy to provide advice on things to do, places to go and where to eat. This is a very quiet, suburban neighbourhood but quite close to the city. It is an ideal base to explore magnificent Victoria You have very easy access to public transport into the city. We provide 5 Public Transport cards (MYKI) that have approx $6 credit to get you started on your journey. We do insist that if you use these cards, you 'top' them up prior to departure so they can be used by the next guests. Breakfast provisions are provided for the 1st 2 days of your stay. If staying longer, there is a supermarket within close walking distance to purchase grocery items. Some grocery items such as condiments and cooking oils have been provided for your benefit. For long stays - linen change times will be negotiated at check in.
