A slice of paradise in Whiritoa

Magical Whiritoa is a beautiful white sandy beach 1.5 km long. A 2 bedroom unit which is below our main house, is situated at the end of a quiet culdesac right across the road from the beach. There is a cafe at the lagoon end of the beach for fish & chips and more. Whiritoa is 15mins from Waihi and 10mins from Whangamata. A BBQ is available and off street parking in front of the unit including space for a boat. A stunning place for you and your family to relax and enjoy as we do. The unit is directly across the road from the beach at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac. To the south end of the beach there is a magnificent blow hole which is a must do at low tide. To the north end of the beach there are many stunning bays you can access at low tide. A lagoon is at the north end also which is very popular to swim in especially for children. There is a shop which has a cafe and fish'n chips available at the north end also. The beach is approx 1.5km long so not far to any of these spots. Inside the unit there is a lovely sunny bay window in which you can enjoy reading, knitting or just relaxing in. A Nespresso machine is available for you to use, you just need to bring your favourite pods with you. A plunger is also available but normal coffee is supplied. Nothing beats jumping into bed with good quality linen! Of which this 'Slice of Paradise', has along with extra large towels for the adults. Behind the unit in our backyard there is a table and chairs under the grapevines which you are more than welcome to use. Its private and cool on those hot summer nights. We have tennis rackets avaliable and a key to the tennis courts if you are wanting to enjoy a game or two. Kayaks are avaliable on request. We are upstairs of the unit and avaliable anytime for any questions or concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact us. We also have two Ragdoll Persian cats - Jaxie and Turbo. Although they are shy of strangers if they get comfortable they may want a tummy rub 😊 Whiritoa is a quiet beach village. Stunning white sand beach with attractions at both ends. The peace and tranquility of this place will leave you wanting to return. There are dog restrictions during summer due to the rear birds nesting on and around the beach. There isn't far to go anywhere in Whiritoa, so walking is easy to get around. Whangamata is approx 10 mins north while Waihi is approx 15 mins south. A recycling bin is outside the unit, if we notice its full we will replace it with an empty one.
