The Cottage is situated in the Ayarpatta Hill of Nainital. It beckons all looking to spend a quality time in the Himalayas. It is a perfect getaway for families and friends as it provides the peaceful solitude of the wilderness at just 1.5 km from the busy town. Located on the Ayarpatta Hill of Nainital, the beautiful and enchanting Vienna Lodge is at 6800 ft. (2100 m) above sea level and is open to the guests looking to experience life in the Himalayas. The exceptional feature about the Cottage is that it is not very far away from town and at the same time is peaceful and secluded from the hustle bustle of the town. The Cottage has an excellent view of the town of Nainital and of the lofty mountains such as the Naina peak, the highest peak in Nainital, the Camel's back mountain and Bara Pathar.The Ayarpatta forest, right behind the cottage is home to a lot of wildlife such as leopards, deer, porcupines, langurs, and a wide variety of birds. The forest has short trails that allows you to explore the allurement of nature in its true and enticing form. The Cottage is fully furnished and has 3 spacious Bedrooms with attached Bathrooms, a Dining room, a Living Room, a fully equipped Kitchen, a Veranda, a Garden, Private Parking and WiFi. Of course all of this with your very own little forest behind the house. The cottage can accommodate 6 adults comfortably. There is an extra room available for guests traveling with staff. NAINITAL Nainital is a popular hill station of the Kumaon region in the state of Uttarakhand. Most of the town settlement is around the picturesque Naini Lake. Since the climate of Nainital is pleasant most of the year round, it is a perfect vacation spot for both summers and winters. The Indian summer as we know can get quite harsh and Nainital offers respite to the grueling heat with its cool summer breeze from the higher Himalayas. The winters in Nainital can be just as charming with the occasional flurries of snow. The guests have access to the entire cottage and the adjoining yard on the side of the cottage. Our house is lies adjacent to the cottage with a private garden in the front - these areas are personal and the guests do not have access to them. Our house is beside the cottage, we’re around if the guests need any assistance. Nainital is a popular hill station in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. The winters in Nainital can be just as charming with the occasional flurries of snow. There is ample parking space at the cottage. So the guests can bring their personal vehicles. Local taxis are available in town which can pick up and drop the guests to/from the cottage. COVID 19 update: 1) According to the government regulations you are required to register on the Dehradun Smart City portal prior to your trip to Uttarkahnd. Please note that there are measures in place at the State border so in order to have a smooth passage to your holiday please abide by the regulations. If you have any concerns please reach out to us. 2. Our cook is now only available once a day to avoid contact as much as possible. Alternatively we are open to working out a cooking arrangement with the guests with the least amount of interaction with the staff. 3. We are only hosting up to 6 people now (putting out extra beds would mean more staff time at the cottage). Important House Notes: We require an a advance notice for the meals , since we’re an independent cottage we don’t keep food stocked up. One of us goes to a town to shop for the ingredients once a day, so an advance notice would be great to stock up on the necessary items. Also we have specific meal times , since the staff that cooks also takes care of the housekeeping. Breakfast is served between 8:30am-10am, Lunch is between 1pm-3pm and Dinner between 7:30pm-9:30pm.
