Stable Cottage, Old Dalby

We offer the complete experience:- a stylish rural retreat centrally located in our gorgeous quaint, quiet village. Great heating, log burner, powerful shower, King Size bed and excellent wi-fi. Ample secure parking. Lots to do locally and we are a 5 minute drive from Ragdale Hall. Lovely gastro pub a three minute walk away -The Crown Inn at Old Dalby and lovely countryside walks in all directions. Nottingham, Leicester, and Loughborough are 20 mins away. Melton Mowbray 10 mins. A self-contained, immaculate cottage (converted stable), with ample space, which has been re-furbished to a high standard. A separate bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite, leads to a galley kitchen, and into a large lounge / diner. Total space is around 56 sq m / 600 sq ft. The cottage can hold 4 people, with the use of two additional 'Z beds' which can be put in the lounge / diner (see layout in photo's), and offers ample space for a couple visiting. The Cottage is located to the rear of our house, though it is completely detached. Access is via a side gate (which guests park in front of) and around the rear of our property. It’s all level with no steps. You have access to ample, secure parking, as well as a private front patio and a smaller rear patio. I can meet you to exchange keys, and be on hand to answer any queries. There is a self check in facility also. Small rural village, with nice walks on tap, pubs to walk for a small hike across the fields, or one mins away also for ease. A local church and village hall all in view, plus a horse riding establishment near by also. Melton Mowbray only 20 mins away, as is Notts and Leicester. Ragdale just down the road - 5 mins drive. We can give you a lift if required! You can drive to ours and that is fine. Lots of parking. Or for train go to Loughborough and get a cab, or arrange a pick up. Re trains alternatively go to Nottingham or Leicester also by train are options on the same line (as Loughborough), .....:or come into Grantham (quicker from London technically, a bit cheaper usually, but slightly longer transfer to cottage).
