One double room available in a 200 year old,mill cottage. It's not overlooked and is afforded with wonderful views of the countryside. The property is newly decorated and is 5 minutes walk from the station. 20 minutes by train from Manchester and is the gateway to the wonderful walks of the Peak District. The house is clean and cosy. It isn't overlooked and has fabulous views of the cricket club and the wooded valley. There are wonderful walks on the doorstep, litterally one minute walk away. There is a fabulous pub with its own Italian restaurant and micro brewery. The station is close by and bus services to local towns. Easily accessible by car and train. There are many delightful towns and villages close by such as Glossop and Buxton and Chapel en le frith. The village is in the train line. 20 minutes from Manchester. The area is popular with cyclists, having splendid scenery and hills to climb and free wheel down. Bus services exist and the village is close to the motorway network. Bring clothes for all weathers. The scenery is splendid and there are many glorious walks you can take, long or short from the house. No need for driving. The Harewood pub in the village has it's own brewery and serves Italian food. There is also a Chinese take away. A garden centre with a popular deli and cafe is in the village. There is also a cricket club that has the best views in England! If you like a coffee and sandwich or light meal there is a fabulous cafe called Broadbutties.
