Leafy Stay on edge of Sheffield and Peak District
Perfect location for exploring the Peak District and Sheffield. Dore Railway Station for trains to city and into the National Park is 10 minutes walk and we are also very close to 2 main bus routes into the city and out to explore; we are a 10 minute drive from various attractions including Chatsworth House and Longshaw. House offers cosiness, beautiful woodlands walks very close by and a great gastro pub only a minutes walk away. Great for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers. This is my home; a 3 bed semi detached house in a pretty and leafy suburb in the south of Sheffield. When I am not here, I offer the house to couples to use. I have a garage for bikes or climbing gear and a carport for parking. I have a cat who is self sufficient and will not bother you (he has a timed feeder) but if you're a cat person, a stroke I'm sure would be welcome! He does not go upstairs at night. I will always be contactable by phone during your stay if you have any queries or problems. This is a lovely part of Sheffield; on the south side and very close to lovely woodland walks and just a 5 minute drive to the edge of the Peak District will all it has to offer. We have a great gastro pub just a stones throw away and a fantastic little parade of shops with a great grocers, a butcher, tea and cake shop and a very well regarded cafe which offers good food and bistro nights. We are a 10 minute walk from the station from where you can get a train into Sheffield (5 minute journey) or out into the Peak. Train into Sheffield is 10 mins walk away and a 5 minute train ride. Buses from the top and bottom of Twentywell Lane run regularly into Sheffield or out into the Peak District, including Chatsworth House which is only a 10-15 minute drive away. There are loads of good walks around! Woods galore and we're also fairly close 2 of Sheffield's best parks; Millhouses and Graves.
