Welcome to our historic apartment right next to Schönbrunn Palace! Enjoy our carefully furnished apartment with an original balcony. If you ever dreamed of feeling like a typical Viennese, you will love our apartment! It is situated right next to Schönbrunn Palace (you can see the garden from the kitchen) and offers everything you need. We are huge design lovers and furnished the apartment with a few design classics and quirky finds from Vienna's flea market. The apartment measures 80 sqm and it features an original balcony which is very rare in houses built around (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) The house was originally built for the accountants of Schönbrunn Palace and you can still feel the historic air all around the place. We renovated the apartment in May (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. Inside the apartment you will find a BEDROOM: equipped with a TV (over 180 channels cable TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime), closet, sideboard, sitting area, a comfy 160 cm double bed and blackout curtains, a LIVING ROOM: with a huge table to eat and a desk equipped with an Imac for your use. Yes, this is right - you can use it during your stay :), Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair, WIFI is free of course! There is a fully equipped KITCHEN with a small sitting area, a stove, an oven, a fridge, a dishwasher, an automatic coffee machine, Nespresso machine, milk foamer, electric kettle, and everything you need to cook, a BATHROOM with a washing machine and hair dryer, a TOILET and a HALLWAY where you can store your shoes etc. The apartment is especially convenient for people who are looking for a place to stay longer because it offers everything you need for your everyday life. You will have access to all areas, except our bedroom where we keep my private things whenever we rent out our place. It is behind the locked door in the hallway. We will be in touch with you via phone, email and (Hidden by Airbnb) during your stay. As we are out of the city most of the time, a friend of mine who lives in the same house will help you in case of emergencies. The apartment is situated in a prominent part of the city right next to Schönbrunn palace. A five minutes walk takes you to Schönbrunn garden where you can go for a jog and enjoy the area as the emperor did. There are many parks and green spaces around the apartment as well as the Schönbrunn swimming pool with its breathtaking view over the city. The area arounfd the apartment is quiet and offers original viennese atmosphere which is enjoyed best at the Meidlinger Markt. Everything you need is close by: supermarkets, cash machine, a big organic supermarket, charming restaurants and bars. The underground line U4 is just around the corner and takes you directly to the city center within 10 minutes. Line U4 with Schönbrunn station is just a 7 minutes walk away and takes you right into the centre. If you are into riding bikes, there is a city bike rental station right at the underground station Schönbrunn where you can rent a bike for nearly nothing and enjoy Vienna's amazing bike lanes. Everyone is welcome at my place! Please keep in mind that this is a self-service apartment which means that it's not a hotel. I rent out this apartment to people who are used to live independently.
