Oosterbeek is surrounded by beautiful woodlands and lies in the vicinity of Arnhem at the river Rhine. Also close by are national sports center Papendal, De Hoge Veluwe National Park, Royal Burgers' Zoo and the Dutch Open Air museum. We support a charity of your choice while you stay in our charming bedroom with luxurious bathroom in the picturesque village of Oosterbeek. We hope to welcome you soon at B&B 'Sfeerhuys Lavanda'! You can check in from 3 pm. Earlier check in is sometimes possible. Just ask! The room is equipped with two separate beds, a breakfast table with two chairs, a sofa bed and a completely new, modern bathroom. The room is equipped for 2 people. However, if required arrangements can be made for a third person. The room has its own wifi (fiberglass), a small flatscreen tv with access to Netflix and HBO, a luxury Prodigio Nespresso machine (with capsules) , a kettle (with several tea bags) and a small fridge and freezer. At your request we are happy to provide a (90% organic and on request gluten/lactose-free) breakfast at your choice. Payment in cash before you check out. Our B&B has a private entrance and a small outdoor area which is partially surrounded by a hedge to sit outside. As our guest you have access to your own bedroom/livingroom with 2 separate beds and a private bathroom. You can park your bicycles (maximum of 3) in our garage. And after a day of muddy mountain biking, you can also wash and clean your bike. In case you don't want to bring your own bikes. No problem, you can use our bikes for free! During your stay, you can reach me by phone, text or mail. And of course in person at our house. Oosterbeek is situated at the southern edge of the Veluwe, an area of outstanding national beauty. Oosterbeek has a lot to offer. You can climb the steep hill the "Hemelse Berg", you can go biking on the "Italian road", enjoy romantic views in Zweiersdal and wander through the dark woods on the estate Quadenoord . Shopping is a perfect way to spend your day in bustling Oosterbeek. And if you enjoy culture and history, pay a visit to the Airborne Museum 'Hartenstein'. A beautiful museum to get a good impression of the Battle of Arnhem during World War II. But the Royal Burgers' Zoo, the historic Open Air museum, Papendal and the Kröller Muller museum in De Hoge Veluwe National Park are also nearby. Near to Oosterbeek is Doorwerth Castle where young and old can spend a perfect day. Besides Doorwerth Castle, more castles and estates that are part of Arcadia Gelderland are situated on the Veluwe. Oosterbeek has a railway station. Sprinter trains depart from Oosterbeek station to Ede-Wageningen Station and Arnhem Central Station. Oosterbeek has also buses and trolley lines connecting to Arnhem and Velp. The city centre of Arnhem is 15 minutes away by bike.
