The kitchen stable door opens onto a courtyard garden at the back with English roses, table & seating. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, (safe place for bikes) couples & single guests. Orford, Sutton Hoo, Suffolk Heritage Coast & Snape Maltings are a short drive. Cambridge Cottage sleeps two. You arrive at the cottage and open the gate to a very sweet cottage garden area with roses, clematis, fuchsias and petunias. I have put a wooden bench in the front so you can sit out with a drink to relax, daydream, rest and slowdown watching village life go by. You will see an old fashioned red telephone box opposite. This is now an information box about the area and has lots of books you can borrow or swop. Your own personal library on your doorstep! The sitting room has a stable door, oak beams, quirky shelving, beautiful handmade vintage floral curtains, oak flooring and the old red brick chimney breast with the cutest green enamel wood burner. There is a really comfy sofa and armchair along with a smart TV. The kitchen has a stable door opening onto the Courtyard, traditional red quarry tile flooring, oak work top, Belfast sink, Electric Hob and Oven, Microwave and Fridge. The original oak wooden staircase has handrail leading upstairs to the landing with a traditional handmade oak banister. Bathroom and Bedroom are off the landing. The bedroom with a double bed, cupboard, chest of drawers and oak floors. The bathroom has a freestanding roll top bath and hand held shower with exposed red chimney breast.
