'Berenice' gite at Bellefontaine, near to Mortain.

Our lovely gite is close to family-friendly activities. You’ll love the gite because of the outdoors space and tremendous open countryside views. Our gite is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with children). A car parking space for 2 vehicles is available immediately adjacent just above gite Berenice, with a gently sloping pathway approach to the entrance off the veranda. TV reception and a DVD player are available. (we also have a 2 bedroom gite 'Cedia' available nearby) Linen provided as required, with cost included in the Cleaning fee: one double bed, two twin beds, and two bunk beds in gite 'Berenice'. There is an open fireplace available for use in the sitting room. 'Berenice' has its own private garden area around the gite, with immediate access to the surrounding countryside. The double-door entrance is directly off the sheltered veranda, with hardwood table and chairs provided to enjoy the lovely view. Carly, who lives locally, arranges for any bed-linen requested and she also does the cleaning. Her contact numbers will be provided for use if needs be. Please do remember to bring your own towels and tea-towels. 'Berenice' is set in a beautiful location with much to explore nearby. The local town of Mortain is only five minutes drive away, with beautiful waterfalls (the Grand Cascade & the Petite Cascade), the Abbaye Blanc (White Abbey), the Petite Chappelle and its view-point (Mont St. Michel can be seen on a clear day), rock climbing, lovely walks, an open-air swimming pool in summer, restaurants, cafés, an art gallery, supermarkets and shops. Go-Karting is available en-route to Mortain. Many other attractive and historic market towns are also within easy travelling distance in this lovely area. (Please note to bring your own towels and tea-towels). Car parking is available immediately adjacent just above gite 'Berenice' 'Berenice' is non-smoking please. The entrance door handle can sometimes be a bit stiff - pushing it firmly downward to open and pulling it firmly upward prior to locking is advised please. Please make sure you take your re-cycling waste to the excellent facility near the church in Bellefontaine village (5 minutes walk). Bagged other waste may also be left nearby there in the wooden container, but only on a Wednesday evening using a clear waste-bag. Otherwise the rubbish must be taken away on your departure please. There is no wi-fi available at the gite, but there is a good mobile / data signal mast in the area.
