We are an old style Bed and Breakfast establishment on a working alpaca farm. Breakfast is provided with a selection of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, toast, tea & coffee. Situated just 2 mins off the southern motorway, and approx 6 km from the main business area of Pukekohe. At least 20 restaurants and food outlets are within a short distance. Large supermarkets (3) for stocking camper vans/RVs etc. If you can, make time for a complimentary tour of the farm. Welcome to Awaawaroa Alpaca Farm! The rate quoted is for a studio type room with a queen size bed and its own ensuite. The lounge is available as a shared area, as is the family room and dining room for breakfast. The studio is located within a large house on an operating alpaca stud farm. An English Cooked breakfast can be served at an extra cost if required with notice. We are located just 35 minutes from Auckland International Airport and Auckland CBD, making us a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life! Transport can be arranged to and from the airport upon request.($50) Private tours of Auckland can also be arranged on request and price is by negotiation. There is a bus & train service nearby to Auckland Central. It is only 5 minutes travel to Pukekohe township where a good selection of cafes and restaurants are available, or dinner can be arranged with us as an extra service. Pukekohe is largely a farming & vegetable growing area with lifestyle type farms dotted amongst. We have a showroom of alpaca products on farm.
